This Privacy Policy explains what data the Nexflow Chrome extension ("Nexflow", "the Extension", "we") collects, how it is used, where it is stored, and the choices available to users. Nexflow is built for workflow automation in police / government portals (form filling, data extraction, snippets, macros, and related productivity tools) and works on the web pages a user visits while the extension is active.
Nexflow collects the following categories of information:
| Category | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | Email address, username, and (if you sign up directly rather than via Google) a password (stored hashed on our server, never in plain text) | To create and secure your account, and to sync your data across devices |
| Google account information | Email address and basic profile info, via Google Sign-In | To let you log in without creating a separate password |
| Extension usage data | Saved snippets, recorded macros, CSS rules, clipboard history, field-mapping configurations, officer directory entries you add, and similar content you create inside the extension | To provide the extension's core features and let you access your data on other devices |
| Page content (only while actively used) | Text/values you choose to extract from a page (e.g. CMS/FIR fields), or content you explicitly select for a tool (Element Styler, Color Picker, Table Export, etc.) | To perform the specific action you triggered (e.g. auto-fill a form, export a table) |
| Local settings | Feature toggles, theme, per-site preferences, license/plan status | To remember your preferences between sessions |
Nexflow does not collect browsing history, passively monitor pages you have not interacted with, or capture keystrokes outside of the fields you are explicitly using an extension feature on.
chrome.storage.local)
and never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or sync it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
The only third party involved in Nexflow is Google, used exclusively for Google Sign-In (OAuth). We request only your basic email and profile information for authentication — nothing more. We do not share, rent, or sell any user data to advertisers, analytics networks, or any other third party.
Locally stored data remains on your device until you clear it (via the extension's Settings → Backup/Clear options) or uninstall the extension. Server-synced data is retained while your account is active and is deleted upon account deletion request — see Section 7.
We use industry-standard practices to protect stored data, including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between the extension and our server, and password hashing for stored account credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using commercially reasonable safeguards.
Nexflow is a productivity tool intended for professional/workplace use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
